You can get a good idea by these requirements where your computer stands.  Where they aren't drastic in any stretch of the imagination,  even at the 'recommended' settings you will find your computer hard pressed to keep up with a lot of the gaming life that World of Warcraft brings to the table.

1.   Ram Memory

Almost every system I've ever owned the first thing I did was upgrade the memory to its maximum.  Even having 16gb of ram on-board can add a lot of improvement to how a game moves.  Especially if you have multiple windows open (One for gaming, and of course one to be reading this journal during your off time).

2.   Video Card

Video Cards is also a very wise upgrade for any system.  Depending on the motherboard you have installed in your system,  upgrading the video card to a 1gb or 2gb model can give you the option of higher frame rates and higher graphic visuals.  Just think how clearly all those half naked Blood Elves (or Night Elves) will be as they shake what they have on the home city mailboxes

3. ,,;  SSD (Solid State Drives)

Many of today's gaming rigs come with a Solid State Drive.  They are smaller drives that contain the core operating system as well as a select few programs that give you access much quicker to the information than your normal large Hard Disc Drives.  Where this can be expensive depending on the size you purchase,  it can be a good investment for a system that needs a dramatic boost.

4.   Keyboard/Mouse

Your keyboard and mouse might seem trivial, but even changing from a standard mouse with a trackball mouse can help with stress on the hands and wrists.  Gaming mice can add to your reaction time by giving you more buttons at your literal fingertips.  Be warned that just with any major change of playstyle there is a learning curve.  I wouldn't install that brand new Razor gaming mouse two minutes before your weekly raid starts.  Unless you really enjoy running into walls while the raid leader screams at you for more dots (ahh Vanilla WOW, ,customize bobblehead; how much I miss you)

5.   Your Mind

Yes,custom bobbleheads,  I know very cheesy of me to bring this up.  But lets face facts,personalized bobble heads,  you're a little bored with WOW now.  You probably have been playing with Pandaland (I should have trademarked that name)  for a bit now and need a rest.   Have you planned your WOWcation yet?   Decided to spend some time with that person you are dating/married too within the next two months?  Are they still even talking to you?   But upgrading your mind is just as important as making sure the meals are showing up and the kids aren't running around the neighborhoods.  Now is the time to redo that mental filing system for all those trivial patterns.  Rewriting your mental goals for that balance between gaming life and real life.
